Best Times to Visit Hawaii

Visiting Hawaii December through March or April will bring a respite from winter, but hotels and flights will be expensive. Getting Around Hawaii

There is very little in the way of public transit on the islands, so plan on renting a car unless you want to spend time mostly in your resort and book day trips, which we might add isn't a bad idea at all. Renting a car on the islands can be quite pricey, and they get booked far in advance, so we recommend booking them far out. Feel free to reach out to our concierge team for complimentary assistance with car rental bookings. Some top luxury hotels will even provide drivers if you book a honeymoon suite. If you'd like personalized recommendations or help with arranging for to-and-from transport from the airport to your hotel, you can always your 24/7 complimentary personal Suiteness concierge. To travel between islands, there are relatively cheap and frequent inter-island flights through a few different providers on the islands.

Where to Stay in Hawaii

The first decision you will be faced with is which island in Hawaii you want to visit on your romantic honeymoon getaway. While each one has slightly different offerings, Maui, is one of the most popular honeymoon destinations in the world, with its perfect balance of pristine beaches and verdant jungle. Hawaii, the Big Island is known for its volcanoes, whereas Kauai is one of the rainiest islands, which can put a damper on things, but also provides some of the most beautiful scenery. Honolulu, which is on the island of Oahu, is the biggest city on all of the islands and has some of the best shopping.
