Planning a trip can be overwhelming. As you analyze your hotel options, weighing price, location, and amenities, don’t forget to consider your personality. Would an oceanfront view help you find your zen? Do you want to end the day relaxing in your very own soaking tub? Would having a washer/dryer in your hotel room and flying home with clean clothes give you peace of mind? Not sure? Your astrological sign can help. 

There are 12 different astrological signs and you’ll need to know your date of birth to figure out yours. Your sign falls into four elements—Earth (Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo), Water (Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio), Air (Aquarius, Gemini, Libra), or Fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)—and they can point you in the right direction as you travel. We’ve found the perfect hotel suite for each sign, taking one decision off your plate for your next trip.

Aries

The adventurous Aries will find a ton of new tastes and pleasures in Napa Valley, where they can do wine (and weed) tastings, eat Michelin-Star rated meals, and enjoy gorgeous vineyard views. The Harvest Suite at Carneros Resort & Spa is like having your own cottage in wine country. Star gaze from a spacious private patio, complete with its own outdoor shower, and warm up next to an in-room fireplace. You’ll also find plenty of activities to keep you busy at the hotel’s arcade/game room and outdoor pool area with poolside bar.

Taurus 

Las Vegas has it all for Tauruses—sports, entertainment, art, fine dining, and luxurious accommodations where you can recharge. Get plenty of space to sprawl out and relax at Vdara Hotel & Spa’s Panoramic Suite (which has an option of adding an adjoining room). Take in 270-degree views of the Strip while you whip up a meal in the full kitchen and do laundry in the in-room washer and dryer. Every practical Taurus wants to return home with a suitcase full of clean clothes! 

Gemini 

Lively and talkative Geminis love to have options, so this Air sign will feel right at home in the skies of Los Angeles at the Penthouse Suite on top of the Standard Hotel. Cancer

Leo

Nestled right above the Sunset Strip, the Andaz West Hollywood provides the perfect location for shopping in Beverly Hills by day and sipping artisanal cocktails at night. Save some energy for a nightcap at the hotel’s Riot House Bar and be sure to order the truffle fries.

Virgo 

Virgos can achieve a sense of inner peace in the middle of New York City in the Greenhouse Suite at 1 Hotel Central Park. This Earth sign will delight in the natural elements present throughout the suite, including a living wall of ivy and ferns, and will love relaxing in the Japanese soaking tub after a long day of sightseeing. Grab a yoga mat (the hotel has one waiting for you) and stretch in your suite or take a class at the nearby gym, Performix House.

Libra 

For Libras, it’s all about finding balance and the Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort is the perfect retreat to help you do that. Spend the day sipping mai tais and strumming ukuleles with friends and head back to your Two Bedroom Villa to enjoy ocean views from your private hot tub. The hotel’s farm-to-table restaurant Ka'Ana Kitchen serves some of the most beautiful dishes on the island—so pretty you might break your no-food-photos-on-Instagram rule.

Scorpio 

Scorpios want their surroundings to be as inspiring, artistic, and as one-of-a-kind as they are. At New York City’s Langham 5th Avenue, the stylish Roche Bobois Penthouse Suite features lush fabrics, contemporary art, and floor-to-ceiling windows with jaw-dropping skyline views from the deep soaking tub and two bedrooms. To satisfy your attraction to the finer things in life, the suite even includes complimentary access to the hotel’s house car, a Jaguar XJL.

Sagittarius 

The ever-exploring Sagittarian will feel inspired waking up to stunning lake and mountain views from the bay windows in the Presidential Suite at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino. Aquarius

Pisces 

You won’t have to leave your hotel room to find your zen at Eden Roc Miami’s One Bedroom Oceanfront Suite, which offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Take a break from the pressures of everyday life on the glass-paneled balcony—bound to be this water sign’s absolute happy place. Pisces will find little reason to leave the room with 24-hour room service and a dining table overlooking the beach, but you’ll also find world-class restaurants within stumbling distance.
