How to Get Around Seattle


Fly to Seattle: Seattle's main airport is the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). The airport, located to the south of downtown Seattle, can be reached by a 30-minute drive. Alternatively, the airport is well-served by public transport, with the option of buses, taxis, Shuttle Express, or LINK rail.

Getting Around Seattle: Visitors have a wealth of options. The Link Light Rail runs through downtown Seattle making 14 stops; expect a train as often as every six minutes and no less than every 15 minutes. The King County Metro Transit is another good option, and a ride on the famous Seattle Monorail is always a favorite.
