About Hotel del Coronado, Curio Collection by Hilton
The Hotel del Coronado is a San Diego icon. Since it first opened as the West Coast's first seaside resort in 1888, "The Del" has hosted royalty, presidents, and celebrities, and even became a celebrity itself when it served as the setting of the Marilyn Monroe film, "Some Like It Hot". Today, this luxurious hotel welcomes guests to enjoy an array of beach activities including bonfires, outdoor movies, beach yoga, and boat rentals. You can slip into a tail for a Mermaid Fitness Class at the pool, or work up a sweat with a more traditional workout in the fitness center. The diverse selection of on-site dining options include wood-fired pizza and craft beer at Eno, California Coastal cuisine at 1500 Ocean, and a decadent Sunday morning feast at Crown Room Brunch.
