How to Plan a Las Vegas Bachelorette Party

Suiteness Logo

The only place to book connecting hotel rooms and suites. Here's how.

Remember the long nights of laughing with girlfriends, eating too many potato chips, and dancing to your favorite pop songs? That’s how the best bachelorette parties feel. They’re the greatest sleepover ever and even better as an adult because you’re old enough to drink!

Las Vegas has everything a good bachelorette party needs: gorgeous hotel suites, over-the-top clubs, epic pool parties, legal marijuana, and tons of photo ops.

If you’re the maid of honor or bridesmaid in charge of the party, you have a lot of decisions to make, but the most important thing to consider first is the bride: Does she want to go clubbing or see a Vegas show? Would she rather spend the day at a pool party or visit an off-the-beaten-path art installation? Does she want to get a lap dance or prefer a tarot card reading? You can’t go wrong if you stay true to her and seek adventures designed to bond the group.

BOOK AHEAD

Between conventions, special events, and holidays, Vegas gets booked up quickly and early. To maximize your options and minimize the cost, you need to plan at least three months in advance. Choose a date a month or two before the wedding—you’ll want to leave time for everyone to recover!

Pro tip: Channel your inner Elle Woods and create a Slack channel to coordinate planning and share itineraries and checklists ahead of time. Save all confirmation numbers in your phone, so they’ll be easily accessible if you need them.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT HOTEL

Many of the best bachelorette memories happen when all your girlfriends are chilling in their pajamas, so it’s essential that everyone stays together. Connected hotel suites provide a common area for the group to hang out in and ensure the party can continue even if someone wants to go to bed. There are a ton of apartment-style hotels on Suiteness, from a massive single suite to two connected suite to a combination of a suite and a standard room. Got more than eight women in your party? No problem. You can book three connected rooms.

Do you want a wet bar to serve drinks from? How bout two? The connected Wraparound Fountain View Terrace Suite + Terrace One Bedroom at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas boasts two wet bars, a sub-zero wine chiller, two massive balconies, and four sofas—plus incredible views of the Bellagio fountains. There will be plenty of room for the ladies to get ready with two full bathrooms with double vanities and a half-bath and powder room off the living room.

Pro tip: No matter how you feel about the trendy speakeasy craze, the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’ Secret Pizza is worth the hunt. Tucked at the end of a hallway lined with records on the third floor of the hotel, this hole in the wall pizza joint serves NY-style slices and pies till 4 a.m. Tuesday-Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday-Monday.

The elegant Bella Suite at the Venetian Resort Hotel & Casino is nearly double the size of other Las Vegas hotel rooms and when two Bella Suites are connected, it’s a whopping 1,400 square feet. With a separate bi-level living room and open bedroom, each suite features two pillowtop queen beds and a full-sized sofa bed, sleeping a total of 12 when connected. You can also book connected Bella Suite at the Palazzo , the Venetian’s sister property, which is also all suite and offers a variety of connected suite configurations.

Pro tip: Hit up Black Tap for a late-night burger and boozy milkshake—it’s open till midnight on weekdays and 2 a.m. on the weekends.

Surprise the bride with the best remedy for her wedding-planning exhaustion—a soaking tub! The Sky Suites Two Bedroom Penthouse at the ARIA Resort & Casino Las Vegas features a deep soaking tub with jets and a luxurious steam shower. This high-tech bathroom includes a flat-screen TV and upscale toilet with a heated seat, aerated warm water, and air dryer. And the toiletries are Hermès. (Warning: She may never want to leave the bathroom!). This suite has a ton of perks, from transportation to and from the airport via limousine to 24-hour butler service.

Pro tip: Don’t miss the Spa at ARIA’s Shio salt room, which is like being inside a himalayan salt lamp. Breathe deep while lounging in a massage chair next to an illuminated wall of Shio salt bricks complemented by salt lamps, vibration therapy, and radiant music. The salt-infused air will improve upper respiratory breathing and illuminate your skin, something every bride and bridesmaid will appreciate. The Spa at ARIA offers day passes at a cost ($50-100, depending on the day) exclusively for hotel guests.

SPRUCE UP THE SPACE

If you stay in one of the above suites, you won’t need to do much sprucing, but the bride will appreciate a nod to her last hurrah as a single lady. Hang up a “Same Penis Forever” sign, adorn a wall with “Bride To Be” foil balloons, or create a DIY photo booth by cutting out a large, decorated frame for the ladies to stand inside (you can also buy one on Etsy).

Kick off the celebrations with a mimosa or vodka soda bar, where the ladies can serve themselves drinks and catch up before the activities start. If you created an itinerary, this is the time to go over it and make sure everyone is on the same page. It’s also the time to share favors. You can go for typical picks, like a sash and veil for the bride and matching t-shirts for the bridesmaids, but temporary tattoos and matching colored wigs might be more your group’s speed. Go out on the town wearing your bachelorette swag, take tons of photos, and set yourself up for free drinks galore.

Pro tip: You can have favors like Las Vegas hangover kits delivered direct to your hotel room from a service such as Champagne Life Gifts.

PARTY POOLSIDE

There’s nothing like a Vegas pool party to bring out the wild side of your bride-to-be! Make sure she’s wearing her bride swag and, if you want even more attention, dress the bridesmaids in matching Bride Squad swimsuits. We’ve got the 10 best pool parties to hit up this season (usually March through October, but some are open year round) and suggestions on where to see the best DJs and sip frozé all day.

Pro tip: Caesars Palace's Garden of the Gods has air-conditioned poolside cabanas with services from Qua Baths & Spa such as Swedish and deep tissue massages.

DAY TRIP FOR THE GRAM

Were you even in Vegas if it’s not captured on Instagram? Save the drunken photos for a private shared folder or afore-mentioned Slack channel with the bridal party and go on an adventure in search of the best photo ops Vegas can supply. We’ve found the seven best locations to break out the phones and give your finest pose.

Pro tip: Bonus points if you coordinate outfits or wear matching wigs!

STACK UP NIGHTLIFE OPTIONS

Break out the fishnets, feathers, pleather, and everything else from the “Halloween or Vegas” section of your closet cause you’re hitting the clubs—plural!

Most of the top nightclubs are on the Strip, but you don’t want to be traversing its 4.2 miles in heels. If you have the budget, add a party bus or limo to the mix so you’re not hassling with ordering separate Ubers.

With so many clubs in Vegas, lining up a few options ahead of time will make the night go smoothly (especially after a few drinks). Being a group of girls, you’ve got a good chance of getting in free at many clubs and you’ll always pay a lower cover charge than dudes. Our agents can help you secure passes and bottle service at the most sought-after clubs in Vegas.

Described as “the most insane nightclub” in Las Vegas by Thrillist, Omnia at Caesars Palace boasts a custom-built kinetic chandelier that projects an incredible light show for EDM fans and an outdoor terrace pumping top 40 amid panoramic views of the Strip.

Pro tip: Fridays and Saturdays are so popular that we recommend springing for bottle service for guaranteed admission.

Hakkasan at MGM Grand is known for booking huge EDM stars such as Tiësto and Calvin Harris in its main room, but head to the Ling Ling Lounge for a mix of '90s tunes and hip-hop in a space that’s chill enough to sip cocktails.

Pro tip: If a big name DJ is performing, get there early (before 9:30pm) to avoid long lines.

See and be seen at The Cosmopolitan’s Marquee, where a circular dance floor makes it easy to spot celebrities and wannabes who flock there for top 40 and EDM, which blasts from a premium Funktion One soundsystem. If you’re visiting Vegas during the warmer months, the Marquee Dayclub offers a wild party with top DJs spinning pool side.

Pro tip: Use the promo code DISCO to get $5 off tickets at MarqueeLasVegas.com.

A mainstay since it opened in 2005, Tao at the Venetian offers a lot of variety, music wise, with two separate dance floors usually featuring EDM and hip hop, respectively, plus a lounge.

Pro tip: If you eat dinner at Tao restaurant, you can stay for the nightclub and avoid paying a cover fee or waiting in line.

Located between the Wynn and Encore, XS is considered a must-do Vegas club. EDM reigns supreme and the 2019 lineup includes mega-stars like The Chainsmokers, Diplo, and David Guetta. The legendary NightSwim pool parties attract a beautiful crowd, dancing the night away in bikinis and swim trunks. Just be sure to bring clothes to change into if you want to go inside the club or hotel.

Pro tip: If you’re staying at the Encore or Wynn, you can purchase line skip passes from the hotel.

If your bride isn’t a nightclub kinda gal, there are plenty of alternatives in Vegas. For something you probably can’t do back home, hit up a recreational cannabis dispensary—there is one on the Strip—and go see Magic Mike Live at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas. While Channing Tatum won’t be dancing, he co-directed this live show based on the hit films Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL. Imagine the giggles as you and the ladies walk into the mythical Club Domina and watch sexy men dance and strip to numbers from the movies, including Ginuwine’s “Pony”! Or catch Lady Gaga’s residency at the Park Theater inside Park MGM Las Vegas—which offers two show options, the high-energy pop spectacle Enigma and the cabaret-inspired Jazz and Piano—before it ends in November 2019. Not into strippers or pop music? Go see a psychic or tarot card reader on Fremont Street in downtown Vegas, north of the Strip. Look for the black and red wagon labeled Ms. Laurie’s European Psychic Readings.

Pro tip: You can hire a psychic to do a reading in your hotel room. Check out Party Psychic or ask our agents for recommendations.
