The Ultimate Las Vegas Bachelor Party Guide

Throwing a Las Vegas bachelor party is unlike planning any other party. Thanks to The Hangover (yes, you can book that suite on our site), your friends may be expecting insane levels of epicness, but you’ve got to worry about a lot of stuff before you get to making questionable alcohol-fueled decisions: Where to stay? Where to eat? How to keep everyone entertained? It’s a massive responsibility, but we’ve got tips to make it fun and easy.

BOOK AHEAD

There’s almost no slow season in Las Vegas anymore. November and December tend to be quieter and the summer heat keeps some folks away, but between conventions, special events, and holidays, Vegas gets booked up quickly and early. To maximize your options and minimize the cost, you need to plan at least three months in advance.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT HOTEL

Nothing kills your bachelor party vibe faster than a long Vegas hallway between you and your friends. Book connected rooms to ensure all the groom’s friends can hang out together. There are a ton of apartment-style hotels on Suiteness, from a massive single suite to two connected suites to a combination of a suite and a standard room. Got more than 10 guys in your party? No problem. You can book three connected rooms.

The epicenter of the Las Vegas bachelor party is the hotel room—so you’ll need to choose wisely. The nobel Bella Suite at the Venetian is nearly double the size of other Las Vegas hotel rooms and when two Bella Suites are connected, it’s a whopping 1,400 square feet. With a separate bi-level living room and open bedroom, each suite features two pillowtop queen beds and a full-sized sofa bed, sleeping a total of 12 when connected. You can also book connected Bella Suite at the Palazzo , the Venetian’s sister property, which is also all suite and offers a variety of connected suite configurations. Pro tip: Hit up Black Tap for a late-night burger and boozy milkshake—it’s open till midnight on weekdays and 2 a.m. on the weekends.

If you want a pool table in your suite—and who doesn’t—check out the Sake suite at the Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace. This modern, Japanese-inspired suite can be combined with a luxury king room and a luxury two-queen room to create a 2,900 square foot palace that sleeps 10 people. Three-and-a-half bathrooms ensure there will be plenty of space to get spruced up for the night—just make sure none of your buddies fall asleep in the relaxing soaking tub! Pro tip: Live like a rapper and order room service from Nobu Restaurant, available 24-hours a day and full of decadent eats (black cod, caviar, Wagyu steak) that will have you singing “Nobu Nobu Nobu Nobu Nobu Nobu” like Future and Drake.

Do your boys require butler service? Check out The Cosmopolitan’s Chelsea Penthouse, one of the sexiest, swankiest suites in Vegas. It boasts three bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, and a spacious 2,500 square feet. Sleeping up to eight guests, the bedrooms each feature a king with an option to have two queens in one of the rooms. This suite has panoramic views, floor-to-ceiling windows, a separate wet bar, and a kitchenette with serving space. As you’d expect at The Cosmopolitan, every detail—from the incredibly plush beds to the in-room technology—oozes elegance. Pro tip: The speakeasy craze has definitely jumped the shark, but Secret Pizza is worth the hunt. Tucked at the end of a hallway lined with records on the third floor of The Cosmopolitan, this hole in the wall pizza joint serves NY-style slices and pies till 4 a.m. Tuesday-Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday-Monday. They’ve got beer too.

DECORATE THE ROOM AND THE GROOM

It’s not a bachelor party if the groom isn’t embarrassed. Arrive ahead of the guys to buy supplies and decorate the hotel rooms with hilarious photos of the groom, plenty of alcohol, and accessories like cigars and beer funnels. If you really want to shock your friends, throw a blow up doll on the sofa.

For at least one night out, supply the groom with a custom T-shirt, hat, or beer koozie that announces his soon-to-be marital status. There’s a lot of great stuff already online, so you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Doesn’t your groom need a shirt or hat that reads “Buy me a beer, the end is near” with a ball and chain graphic? Think about the free drinks he could score! It’s a small investment to make him feel special and ensure he gets extra attention when he goes out.

STACK UP NIGHTLIFE OPTIONS

Vegas is full of sexy people, but to find them, you gotta hit the clubs—plural! Most of the leading nightclubs are on the Strip, while all of the strip clubs are off the Strip, so you may want to hit each on different nights. If you have the budget, add a party bus/limo to the mix so you’re not hassling with hailing multiple cabs or ordering separate Ubers.

With so many clubs in Vegas, lining up a few options ahead of time will make the night go smoothly (even after a few drinks). Our agents will help you secure passes and bottle service at the most sought-after clubs in Vegas and some hotels such as Encore at Wynn will provide VIP front-of-the-line XS passes to resort guests (at a cost). Dress smart to avoid getting hassled by bouncers. We recommend a collared shirt, jeans, and dress shoes.

Depending on the nights you’ll be in Vegas, the music options can range from superstar EDM DJs to top 40 and hip hop. Remember, a bachelor party is not a democracy—preserve your sanity and don’t take a poll of where the guys want to go or what type of music they prefer. Get passes to multiple nightclubs and then you can hop around and see what feels right.

Described as “the most insane nightclub” in Las Vegas by Thrillist, Omnia at Caesars Palace boasts a custom-built kinetic chandelier that projects an incredible light show for EDM fans and an outdoor terrace pumping top 40 amid panoramic views of the Strip. Pro tip: Fridays and Saturdays are so popular that we recommend springing for bottle service for guaranteed admission.

Hakkasan at MGM Grand is known for booking huge EDM stars such as Tiësto and Calvin Harris in its main room, but head to the Ling Ling Lounge for a mix of '90s tunes and hip-hop in a space that’s chill enough to sip cocktails. Pro tip: If a big name DJ is performing, get there early (before 9:30pm) to avoid long lines.

See and be seen at The Cosmopolitan’s Marquee, where a circular dance floor makes it easy to spot celebrities and wannabes who flock there for top 40 and EDM, which blasts from a premium Funktion One soundsystem. If you’re visiting Vegas during the warmer months, the Marquee Dayclub offers a wild party with top DJs spinning pool side. Pro tip: Use the promo code DISCO to get $5 off tickets at MarqueeLasVegas.com.

A mainstay since it opened in 2005, Tao at the Venetian offers a lot of variety, music wise, with two separate dance floors usually featuring EDM and hip hop, respectively, plus a lounge. Pro tip: If you eat dinner at Tao restaurant, you can stay for the nightclub and avoid paying a cover fee or waiting in line.

Located between the Wynn and Encore, XS is considered a must-do Vegas club. EDM reigns supreme and the 2019 lineup includes mega-stars like The Chainsmokers, Diplo, and David Guetta. The legendary NightSwim pool parties attract a beautiful crowd, dancing the night away in bikinis and swim trunks. Just be sure to bring clothes to change into if you want to go inside the club or hotel. Pro tip: If you’re staying at the Encore or Wynn, you can purchase line skip passes from the hotel.

If your groom is a strip club kinda guy, Vegas provides plentiful options. Many strip clubs offer packages that include a free limo ride and waived cover charge; our agents can help you decide if it’s right for your group. If you want full nudity, you’ll be sipping soft drinks (usually free and unlimited), with the exception of Palomino Club, the only full-bar and all-nude club in town. If you don’t want to venture too far from the Strip, your best bet is Crazy Horse III, located just west of Mandalay Bay and offering an upscale, nightclub feel. Also not far from the Strip, Centerfolds is across the street from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and newly renovated with a late-night kitchen. Head to Sapphire to experience one of the largest strip clubs in Vegas, featuring private skyboxes and the Rockstar Lounge that sits underneath the glass-bottom main stage—talk about a view! For a slice of cinematic history, check out Cheetahs, where Showgirls was filmed. After you’ve worked up an appetite, Treasures combines beautiful women and a steakhouse that competes with some of the best in Vegas.

PLAN ONE INCREDIBLE DAY ADVENTURE

It’s key to not jam-pack your itinerary when planning a group trip—especially for a bachelor party where everyone will be in a perpetual mode of recovering from the night before—but you’ll want one memorable Las Vegas excursion. And no, hanging out by the pool doesn’t count! But if you're looking for an awesome pool party, we've got 10 great ones to check out—frozé all day!

Zip line above the Strip at the newest addition to The LINQ, a hotel and entertainment district featuring the world's tallest observation wheel, High Roller. FLY LINQ has 10 side-by-side zip lines that can be engaged simultaneously, making it an ideal group activity, and fliers can choose from a seated or superhero pose. As you exit, you’ll have an opportunity to purchase a photo of yourself or your group.

If you have a bunch of golfers in your party, there are some gorgeous courses in Las Vegas, including Bali Hai on the Strip, but Topgolf is a better choice if your buddies want to get tipsy and act silly. For those unfamiliar, Topgolf is a multi-level driving range populated by several dozen bays, which you can rent by the hour.

Topgolf at the MGM Grand features four levels, 107 climate-controlled bays, five bars, a restaurant, and two pools. Each bay accommodates up to six players, but you can book a small group package for up to 12 players and keep your group together.

What’s more badass than a helicopter ride? A helicopter ride through the Grand Canyon. This once-in-a-lifetime experience doesn’t come cheap, but think of the Instagram photos! Most helicopters seat six plus the pilot; for a larger group, consider booking a private charter. Vegas has many options, but we like the top-rated Maverick Helicopter and Sundance Helicopters.
