Dig This | Off Strip

Drive a bulldozer, yes, a big tractor that lets you well...bulldoze things. Dig This lets customers get behind the wheel of either a bulldozer or a tractor. You don't need any experience with heavy machinery. Just listen to a quick safety and equipment demonstration, and it's off to the adult sandbox, so you can dig a giant hole, make a big dirt mound and even climb over said mound. This is Vegas, enough said.

Red Rock Canyon | Off Strip

Be sure to hydrate and eat well at breakfast time, Red Rock Canyon is one of the most popular spots in the Southwest U.S. Safe to say, it'll be more of a challenge than drunkenly climbing into your hotel bed every other night. Or equally as challenging for some...Either way, this is an awesome experience to be had. The canyon is known for its unique rock formations and the fiery colors that blanket the desert landscape. This is a trail for the adventurous traveler, so tread at your own pace and again, remember to hydrate.

Voodoo Zipline | The Strip

For some thrills that won't require leaving the Strip, check out Voodoo Zipline at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. This crazy zipline lets you fly across The Strip from the 50-story Masquerade tower at the VooDoo Lounge, toward the 20-story Ipanema tower, more than 800 feet above ground.

Goldstrike Hot Spring | Off Strip

One of the coolest experiences in Las Vegas, the Goldstrike Hot Springs can be found little ways from the Hoover Damm site, at Goldstrike Canyon. There are numerous hot springs in the area, so you don't have to worry about overcrowded waters. However, do keep in mind that the springs' temperatures will change with the season, so we probably wouldn't recommend visiting the springs if you're visiting Las Vegas in the summer.

The Neon Museum | The Strip

Also known as the Neon Boneyard, this is essentially a place where the great big signs of Las Vegas go to die. Of course this being Vegas, an attraction has been made of it. Visitors to the museum can schedule guided tours and visit a number of legendary old signs, long retired and replaced by more modern signs. You'll find all manner of things, from weird neon sign giants to more historically known ones. Yes, this is about as weird an activity as you can find, but plenty amusing and worth a visit.
