Atlanta Neighborhoods

The only place to book connecting hotel rooms and suites. Here's how.

  • Candler Park

The neighborhood of Candler Park offers the best of Atlanta. Situated just five minutes outside of the downtown area, it's the site of a 55-acre park that offers a swimming pool, playground, athletic fields and more. The Candler Park neighborhood also boasts a MARTA train station as well as ample shops, restaurants and bars.

  • Inman Park

Marked by winding roads and its historic homes that date back to the 1920s and '30s, the Inman Park neighborhood offers a great deal of open space. While the Inman Park pool is a popular gathering spot for summertime fun, residents can also browse through the numerous family-owned record stores for treasures.

  • Summerhill

Summerhill offers a mix of easy access to nearby highlights such as the Cyclorama, Turner Field and the Atlanta Zoo while still being affordable for families and young professionals alike. Nearby Grant Park and Phoenix Park II offer the typical park amenities as well as ample green space.

  • Druid Hills

As the location of Emory University, Druid Hills is a  neighborhood that caters to the young -- and young at heart. Frederick Law Olmstead, the designer of New York's Central Park, also orchestrated the layout of Druid Hills. Easily accessed by Freedom Parkway and Ponce de Leon, Druid Hills is also home to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Fernbank Natural History Museum and Planetarium.

  • Tuxedo Park

Located off I-75 in the Buckhead area of Atlanta is the luxurious neighborhood of Tuxedo Park. Meticulously-restored estates with lush lawns that routinely sell for six or seven figures dot the Tuxedo Park neighborhood. Situated conveniently to the nightlife in Buckhead, Tuxedo Park is also close to Phipps Plaza and Lenox Mall. Some of the state's most prestigious schools -- Holy Spirit Preparatory School, The Galloway School, Pace Academy and Atlanta Girls School are just a few examples -- are found within the community of Tuxedo Park.

  • Castleberry Hill

Every year, thousands of art lovers descend upon the neighborhood of Castleberry Hill to enjoy its street arts festival. This historic community is designated as a Landmark District with railroads criss-crossing its streets. The site of a business boom after the Civil War ended, Castleberry Hill today is dominated by lofts that grew out of the warehouses left behind when businesses relocated elsewhere. Located only a few minutes from the Atlanta Unversity Center (AUC), Georgia Dome, World Congress Center and Phillips Arena, Castleberry Hill also hosts a thriving restaurant, shopping and arts scene.
