Best Shopping Malls in Miami

Lincoln Road Mall | Miami Beach

Located on the famous Miami shopping street, Lincoln Road Mall was at some point called the “Fifth Avenue of the South,” and while that may be a stretch, this outdoor venue is without a doubt an enviable upscale shopping experience. Surrounded by a dizzying number of cafes, lounges, restaurants and art galleries (Romero Britto’s is one), you'll find plenty to do even if you're not shopping. And if you just can't leave empty handed, you'll have no trouble swiping away at upscale retail stores like the local luxury fashion boutique Alchemist, or brand giants like Zara, J. Crew, Lululemon, and others.


Aventura Mall | Aventura

Housing over 300 retailers and six major department stores that include Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom and Macy’s—Aventure Mall is reportedly one of the top five highest-grossing malls in the country, and one of the best places to shop in Miami. Through and through a beautiful upscale shopping mall, Aventura offers luxury boutiques like Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Tiffany and Co., Fendi and Burberry. Although more affordable stores like H&M, J. Crew, and Urban Outfitters will also get shoppers their fix and offer a greater retail variety. Large enough to make a day of it, visitors to the mall will also enjoy 12 different restaurants, like the Cheesecake Factory, and an AMC Movie Theatre with IMAX.


Dolphin Mall | Airport Area

Anyone looking for shopping malls in Miami near the airport is in for a treat with Dolphin Mall, the biggest outlet shopping center in Miami. Minutes from the airport, this outlet heaven boasts more than 240 stores including Calvin Klein Factory Outlet, Last Call by Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue’s Off 5th and Tommy Hilfiger Company Store. But there's more to Dolphin Mall than pure retail, the center also features numerous entertainment venues that include an awesome bowling alley, a Dave and Buster's, the CineBistro movie theater, and 17 restaurants, including Texas de Brazil Churrascaria and P.F. Chang's China Bistro.


Bal Harbour Shops | Bal Harbour

Essentially synonymous with upscale shopping, what was once World War II army barracks is now one of the best outdoor malls in Miami. The exclusively high fashion shopping center is lined with swaying palm trees, bright flowers, koi ponds and limestone and marble fountains that imbue shoppers with a sense of leisurely relaxation. Visitors can stroll through the mall's breezeways and catwalks while the browse over 100 shops in the 450,000 square-foot mall, and its curated list of designer boutiques include Chanel, Prada, Gucci, Balenciaga, Chloe, Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, and Valentino. Anchored by Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue on either end, this upscale venue is a must for all discerning shoppers, and it makes for one of the best shopping malls in Miami.


Dadeland Mall | Kendall

Home to Florida's largest Macys, this sprawling 1.4 million square-feet center hosts over 185 stores, featuring popular retailers like The Apple Store, Coach, Hollister, Sephora, Zara and even a Tesla store. For an added plus you'll also find the ever faithful Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, and JCPenney. Drop by Dadeland when you've swept up the sun at Miami Beach, and be sure to try at least one of their restaurants. You'll find more than enough mouthwatering plates at Bobby Flay’s Bobby’s Burger Palace, so you can dine and go over the day's finds.



Shops at Merrick Park | Coral Gables

Another one of the beautiful Miami outdoor malls, the Shops at Merrick Park boast manicured courtyards, Mediterranean-inspired fountains and a number of luxury retailers, surrounded by lush gardens that permeate a refined atmosphere of discerning shoppers. Anchored by Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom, the Shops offer a variety of retailers, from Tiffany & Co. to Gucci and Carolina Herrera, and more affordable clothiers like J. Crew, Athleta, Madewell, Anthropologie and Banana Republic. Shopping or not, the Shops make for a great place to stroll around and maybe grab a bite on the great restaurants around, like Crave or the always fun, Yard House.


Miami International Mall | Doral

This gargantuan mall spans over 1 million square feet, accounting for some serious shopping options. Little ways from the center of Miami, and near the Miami International Airport, the mall is host to giant retailers like Macy's, JCPenney, Kohl's, Sears, and H&M. Shoppers will also find over 140 premium retailers, like Bebe, Cache, Coach, Forever 21 and Guess. And with 22 restaurants to choose from, visitors can make a day the sprawling mall while they shop to their heart's desire.


The Falls | Kendall

A startling outdoor mall, built around a tranquil waterscape, ripe with lush open-air areas, sculpted water fountains and a slew of shopping options. The Falls is yet another beautiful mall in Miami, featuring stores like Origins, Swarovski, and Talbots, along with major department stores like Macy’s and Bloomingdales. If you've tired of strolling through waterside walkways and great stores, drop into one its many restaurants, or bring the whole crew along to the family friendly mall and catch a matinee at the Regal Cinema.


Southland Mall | Cutler Bay

A great place to bring your kids along, Southland Mall is a family-friendly shopping center, complete with a carousel, an indoor playground, and a bounce house. Of course, there's also over 120 retailers including Macy's, Sears, JC Penney, TJ Maxx and Old Navy. So you can shop while the little ones burn out their energies, or sit with the fam at one the many restaurants before catching a movie at the in-house Regal Cinema.


Mall of Americas | South Miami Area

Located near the airport, the Mall of Americas offer a more affordable option for last-minute shoppers, or anyone looking for quick fix, with retailers like Marshalls, Old Navy Outlet, Home Depot, Ross Dress for Less, Costco, and FootLocker. One of its more fun features is its international cuisine food court, packed with eateries ranging from Honduran to Brazilian and Cuban.
