The only place to book connecting hotel rooms and suites. Here's how.

A famous railroad town close to the New Mexico border, Durango Colorado offers plenty of exciting activities for nature lovers and history buffs alike. The highlight of the town is the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad & Museum, a fully-functional steam-powered railroad offering rides so you can experience what travel was like in the height of the American Industrial Revolution. There are also a pair of museums geared towards kids to visit; the Powerhouse - Science Center/MakerLab offers hands-on exhibits while the Animas Museum lets you tour an old schoolhouse. Durango is also the gateway to Mesa Verde National Park, site of the most pristine examples of the cliffside dwellings of the Ancestral Puebloan culture. The national park is also home to Chapin Mesa Archeological Museum.
