Just over an hour from both Los Angeles and Palm Springs, Ontario is the perfect halfway point between the ocean and desert in Southern California. During the day, head to Galleano Winery to tour the vineyards, winemaking facilities, and even sample some of the newest vintages in the tasting room. If you're a golfer, nearby championship courses at Mountain Meadows, Red Hill Country Club, and Goose Creek Golf Club will give you a chance to hone your game, and spend some time in the California sunshine. You can also take a roadtrip to Los Angeles to visit famous landmarks like the Walk of Fame in Hollywood, Pacific Park in Santa Monica, and the hilltop Griffith Observatory.
